The subtle touches on these candle holders really make them fit well in any room of the house for the holidays. The red birds are darling, and I've received many compliments on them!

you expect the candlelight to illuminate through the glass. it does not, despite the deceptive picture. I am really disappointed in this product because you can see the quality is good, however they are completely opaque which in my view misses the boat. With the lights out, you'd barely know there was a candle in there. I bought these in the store based on the online photo which appears to have the tree etched through the glass so I will be bringing them back.

These votive holders are really cute and will work well with my Christmas decorating theme (woodland animals). They are significantly heavier than I expected, which is a good thing in my opinion (I don't like votive holders that can topple over easily). The silver finish is pretty consistent throughout, and the trees/birds are carefully painted. I especially like the fact that they are not mirror images of each other -- one bird sits low, one sits in the middle, and the other sits up high. Tealights were included in the package. A steal at this price!
